About Me

I’m a software engineer and technical leader with 12+ years of experience building scalable systems across AI, distributed systems, cloud platforms, and e-commerce. I enjoy taking complex problems and turning them into simple, reliable software.

Today, I work on AI-driven energy platforms at Uplight (Schneider Electric), focusing on distributed systems, real-time optimization, and AI-powered developer tooling. Previously, at MathWorks, I helped build and evolve several customer-facing platforms, including Training e-commerce, Bug Reports, and Careers, as well as the MATLAB Central File Exchange.

I’m also interested in exploring AI and developer tools through my own projects. I’m the creator of Fast-DeepSeek, an open-source Ruby library for DeepSeek LLM, and I write about the things I build and learn here.

When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me playing pickleball, or rowing or kayaking around the Charles River.
